Welcome to our smallholding where we have been breeding and rearing the Wondae herd and flock, producing and selling the finest quality Dexter beef and Welsh lamb for over ten years.
We are delighted to introduce you to the world of delicious and distinctive Dexter beef and traditional Welsh lamb. All our Dexter cattle and Welsh lambs are home bred and naturally reared on the lush lowland pastures of North Wales, at our smallholding which is situated at Overton-on-Dee, some 8 miles south of Wrexham and close to the Shropshire and Cheshire borders.
Being non-intensively reared, our animals benefit from a truly free-range, outdoor life receiving the highest standards of care during their lifetime.
Once our cattle and lambs are fully matured they travel the short distance to a local, family-run abattoir and butchery, where the lambs are hung for 1 week whilst the beef is hung for at least 3 weeks. Our butcher then cuts and packs the meat to our requirements (and yours!) ready to supply to our ever-increasing customer base.
